Our Artists

Tom

Tom has a positive, full noise approach to contemporary black and grey Japanese inspired tattooing that is at the core of his artwork both on and off the body.

Heavily influenced by the natural world with a clean, bold and precise style.

Tattoos that stand the test of time ✌🏼

Rhys

I’ve been tattooing for 11 years, and now based in beautiful Wellington City. My style has evolved with my surroundings, with a strong western traditional influence from Europe & America.

Bright and bold, black and clean, is what I try to achieve with every tattoo I do.

Ve

I’m Veronika, originally from Hungary, Budapest.

I started tattooing in 2015. For 3 years I was an adaptive all-rounder tattooer of fineline, dot work, water colour, neotraditional and mandala tattoos. Later, I’ve started specialising in black and grey realism and cover ups.

I’ve tattooed my fair share of colour with neotraditional and watercolour designs, which gave me a good base in colour realism as well. My all time favourite, with high contrasts and its ability to withstand time, is black and grey realism.

I have a Certificate, Diploma and Honours in Fine Arts which helps me understand design, structure, composition and the importance of referencing.

Manu

Born Manu Kincaid Edwin in Timaru 1971. I have always drawn and created from an early age and have worked as a tattooist for over 20 years, here in Aotearoa and in Germany. I also turn my hand to painting, writing, carving and drawing among other things. For me the process of creating is a medium used to express ideas, opinions, thoughts and feelings I encounter on this period of travel we call life.

Jem

I specialize in large-scale black and grey work, focusing on dark realism and geometry, though not limited to them. 16+ years tattooing professionally.

Second-generation artist – my father learned from a gypsy and passed that foundation to me. But my real education started as a child, copying pictures from National Geographic, obsessed with capturing form and detail with pencil.

That drive to replicate what I saw became the foundation for everything I do now. Tattooing is the extension of that: translating pencil work to skin, creating permanent art that holds its form.
